Photography & privacy.

The research photographs on this website show materials, activities, and shared settings. Photographs are shown alongside descriptions of the activity or material.

Respecting personal contributions

Captions focus on activities and design materials. Personal contributions remain part of the context in which they were shared; photographs are not used to infer a person’s abilities or health.

The visitor map

The homepage includes a MapMyVisitors map showing approximate visitor locations. Loading the map sends a request to MapMyVisitors, including your IP address and browser information. The service uses IP-based geolocation to estimate location; this website does not request GPS access.

The map does not identify visitors by name. Locations are approximate and can differ from where someone is actually browsing. MapMyVisitors states that its embedded map does not set cookies or track visitors across websites. For details about processing, retention, and your rights, see the MapMyVisitors privacy policy.
